As the saying goes, “educate a girl, educate a nation.” With strong educational foundations, cycles of poverty in poor communities can be broken. However, young school girls need our help.
Menstruation is still a taboo in many parts of our country. To help menstruating young girls, Yuva Bengaluru Trust sponsor sanitary napkins to high school students. As a part of their CSR Activity Team Nippon Paints, Bengaluru provided over 150 girls with sanitary napkins and education about good hygiene practices on 18/12/2023.
The major objectives of the program :
• To increase awareness among adolescent girls on Menstrual Hygiene
• To increase access to and use of high quality sanitary napkins to adolescent girls.
• To ensure safe disposal of Sanitary Napkins in an environmentally friendly manner.
