Guest Talk under the Aralu Mallige Initiative by Yuva Bengaluru Trust

As part of its ongoing efforts to inspire and empower young girls, Yuva Bengaluru Trust recently hosted a remarkable Guest Talk under its Aralu Mallige – Bloom Jasmine initiative at a school supported by the trust. The event was not only a platform to honor distinguished guests but also an opportunity for students to gain valuable insights and motivation from the life journeys of two esteemed professionals: Mr. Jagir Singh and Advocate Ravinder Kaur.

An Inspiring Journey: Mr. Jagir Singh's Talk

Mr Sunil BV, Introducing the Guest

Our first guest, Mr. Jagir Singh, currently serving as Joint Director (S), Parliamentary Security Service (PSS), Parliament of India, brought with him a wealth of experience and knowledge, stemming from over 30 years of dedicated service to the nation. Mr. Singh has played a pivotal role in overseeing the security protocols of the Parliament, ensuring the safety of its members, staff, and infrastructure. His leadership in coordinating with various governmental and security agencies has helped maintain the smooth functioning of India's legislative body.

During his talk, Mr. Singh shared his inspiring journey from a young boy to the highly respected position he holds today. His story of resilience, perseverance, and dedication resonated with the young girls in the audience, many of whom were deeply moved by his words. He emphasized the importance of self-discipline, hard work, and the courage to face challenges head-on, reminding the students that their dreams are within reach with the right mindset.

Advocate Ravinder Kaur: A Voice for Justice

The second guest, Advocate Ravinder Kaur, a practicing lawyer in the Supreme Court of India, added yet another layer of inspiration to the event. Mrs. Kaur, who is also the wife of Mr. Jagir Singh, is dedicated to serving the downtrodden and underprivileged through her legal expertise. In addition to her professional practice, she actively contributes to society through her NGO, offering legal aid to those in need at little to no cost.

Her commitment to justice and accessibility empowers vulnerable communities, ensuring they receive the support and representation they deserve. Through her talk, Mrs. Kaur encouraged the young girls to pursue careers in fields that contribute to the greater good of society. Her passion for justice and equality deeply inspired the students, showing them the importance of using their knowledge and skills to uplift others.

Leadership and Gratitude: The Role of Yuva Bengaluru Trust

The event was chaired by Mr. B.V. Sunil, President of Yuva Bengaluru Trust, alongside Mr. Praveen (Treasurer), Mr. Rahul (Director of Education Projects – Yuva), and Mr. Nandish (Joint Director). In his address, Mr. Sunil emphasized the importance of nurturing young minds and providing them with role models who inspire them to reach their full potential. The efforts of Mr. Rahul, who coordinated the overall event, were recognized and appreciated for ensuring the event’s smooth execution.

At the end of the session, the Trust honored both guests, expressing deep gratitude for their time, effort, and words of wisdom. Their presence left a lasting impact on the students, motivating them to dream bigger and work harder to achieve their goals.
